Product Description
Tow BOEING 767 Pushback Tug Aircraft Towing Tractor 4x4
Towing of Aircraft Movement of large aircraft about the airport, flight line, and hangar is usually accomplished by towing with a tow tractor (sometimes called a "tug"). We have small airplane towing tractor for 50 tons, medium duty aircraft tow vehicles for 100~150 tons, heavy duty aircraft tow truck for 200~230 tons model.
Towing aircraft can be a hazardous operation, causing damage to the aircraft and injury to personnel, if done recklessly or carelessly. Here outline the general procedure for towing aircraft. However, specific instructions for each model of aircraft are detailed in the manufacturer's maintenance instructions and are to be followed in all instances.
Before the aircraft to be towed is moved, a qualified person must be in the flight deck to operate the brakes in case the tow bar fails or becomes unhooked. The aircraft can then be stopped, preventing possible damage.
When coupled to an aircraft the towing tractor vehicle facilitates the movement of the aircraft without the requirement for use of the aircraft's jet engines. The towing vehicle system comprises a towing tractor vehicle having remotely controllable steering, braking, and acceleration.
During transport, the aircraft towing vehicle driver is responsible for controlling the speed and direction of the aircraft. They also will need to obey emergency stop instructions communicated by the other team members in the case of unsafe conditions.
When towing the aircraft, the towing vehicle speed must be reasonable, and all persons involved in the operation must be alert. When the aircraft is stopped, do not rely upon the brakes of the towing vehicle alone to stop the aircraft. The person in the flight deck must coordinate the use of the aircraft brakes with those of the towing vehicle.
We could supply high quality aircraft towing tractor. Our products have been using by military and civilian airlines for years in China.
